A heritage for all to see!
© Caroline Dethier

The Grand-Hornu site has always been, and will remain, one of the most beautiful sites of the industrial revolution. From mining site to creative showcase, we invite you to explore over two centuries of existence during the Heritage Days on September 7 and 8.

This year's Heritage Days in Wallonia will focus on people with special needs. In addition to the usual tours, the CID team is inviting visitors with special needs to discover the treasures of Wallonia's heritage in a more enjoyable way. You'll be able to experience an original “blind” tour of the site, and learn more about visual disabilities. Two tours in sign language are also available for the deaf and hearing-impaired.

September is also a month of heritage, with the CID offering an Art Shuttle to Brussels' Maritime Quarter on September 21. Come and join us!
