Workshop
In this interactive workshop, educator and designer Alan Hook will discuss the processes and thinking behind the Equine Eyes project.
This project, exhibited as part of the Superpower Design exhibition, is a helmet that helps you “see like a horse”. The project is designed to explore cross-species empathy and understanding in order to find new ways of sharing the world with non-human animals.
Workshop participants will discuss the possibilities and challenges of understanding other life forms and what this can teach us about being human, before having the opportunity to try on the headset in the gallery and give feedback on the experience.
The workshops will be conducted in English.
The workshops will be filmed as part of the feedback process to create a video summarizing the work and public feedback.
