On Sunday, embark on a steampunk journey with a convivial picnic in the gardens of Grand-Hornu, hosted by the ASBL ManifestSteam. On the programme: crafts, entertainment and a fun immersion in the spirit of the 19th century.
The programme for 13 and 14 September:
- at 10.30 am, 2.30 pm and 4.30 pm: Guided tours of the site with tasting
Free visits with compulsory booking here.
- From 10am to 6pm: Treasure hunt for children
On Sunday 14, you can take part in a picnic:
- from 11.30am: a friendly picnic in the gardens of Grand-Hornu, hosted by the ASBL ManifestSteam.
On the programme: crafts and games:
- Tea duels: Immerse yourself in the zany world of tea duels with two famous judges! Learn the subtleties of the art of biscuit dipping and avoid the dreaded stain on your bib. Vany and/or Willy are waiting for you.
- Parasol duels: A Shifumi revisited... but with elegance! Will you be strategic enough to triumph? It's up to you!
- Nerve duels: In pairs, one shoots, the other guides by voice... but the opposing team is watching! Precision and coordination will be your best allies if you want to win.
The Grand-Hornu cafeteria will be open all weekend for drinks and snacks.
