Workshop
Bring the whole family along to explore the Grand-Hornu gardens with Davide Cascino, a qualified and passionate nature guide.
We’ll start with a walk to discover the plants, then get hands-on with a seed bomb-making workshop: we’ll mix, shape and take home everything we need to help nature bloom everywhere!
A joyful day of observing, creating and having fun as a family, with hands in the soil and minds in the great outdoors!
Programme:
-10.00 am: welcome coffee
-10.30am: Visit to the ‘Memo. Memories of the Future’ exhibition at the CID
-11am: To start with, we’ll try to understand what a plant is (from seed to flower/fruit) with tastings of common plants
-12 noon: Lunch break (lunch not provided)
-1.00 pm: Walk through the flower-filled courtyard of the Grand-Hornu to observe the plants growing there
-3.00 pm: Making seed bombs
-4.00 pm: End
